Bicycles

Under Florida Law a bicycle is considered a VEHICLE and therefore has the same rights and privileges as any other vehicle except by its very nature does not apply. Bicycles and self-propelled vehicle shall not be operated on any limited access roadway.

Bicyclist may be issued a traffic citation under any applicable traffic law. This includes violation of right of way, disobeying an official traffic control device, riding on the wrong side of the road and more.
